Welcome to the Mountains…ya’all!

Discover the Beautiful Mountains of Northeast Georgia…

…and let us help you Discover the Historic & Charming Sautee & Nacoochee Valleys.

Jerry and Theresa Sustakovitch would like to introduce you to a special place in the mountains. A world of rivers & streams, fishing lakes and hiking trails, waterfalls & mountain vistas, all waiting for you to explore. Just 90 minutes north of Atlanta and 2 hours from the Greenville/Asheville areas, we welcome the opportunity to show you our ‘little portion of mountain paradise’.

Let us tell you a little about our area and you'll… Visit for a day, and stay for a lifetime.

White County, Georgia is known across the nation (and even the world) as home to the famous Alpine Village of Helen. An old lumber mill town that was near distinction in the 60s was turned into a story book Bavarian Village by local businessmen in 1969 and the rest is history.

But the history of White County doesn't stop there. GOLD was discovered in 1828 which changed the area forever. You can still find a few "fleck's" of gold in the local streams or come across an old mine site out in the woods. The county seat of Cleveland is home to Baptist oriented, Truett-McConnell College. Just north of Helen is popular Unicoi State Park, appealing to campers and nature lovers alike. In 1950 Helen was visited by Hollywood movie star, Susan Hayward when 20th Century Fox came to town to film, “I'd Climb The Highest Mountain”. And no drive through the "Valley's" of Sautee & Nacoochee is complete without passing the Nacoochee Indian Mound. Known as the #2 most recognized site in the State of Georgia.

White Counties small town friendly atmosphere and natural beauty has helped it become a fast growing county that still retains a slower country pace that attracts those from the Big and not so big city life. Want to spend the day exploring. Ask Theresa. She’ll show you the way to quaint mountain towns and villages, shops and restaurants, plays, art exhibits and musicals. And if you've got "golf fever", Jerry knows just the place to take a swing or two.

One special place that 'folks' from all areas will enjoy living is in the Mountain Community of… Skylake!

Skaylake…One of the area’s best kept secrets, is a Private Recreational Community with the ambiance of a nature preserve and the friendliness of 'Mayberry RFD'. Consisting of over 1,300 acres with approximately 555 acres devoted to homes or home sites, Skylake features 24 hour gated security, fishing and canoeing lakes, nature trails, tennis courts, swimming pool, club house and picnic areas. You’ll learn more about Skylake as you continue on in our web site.

Now that you know a little about our areas attractions, call Jerry & Theresa for professional assistance to find your own private place in the North Georgia Mountains. Specializing in the White and Habersham County areas, we can show you a variety of homes and land, acreage and building lots, from private mountain top estates to one bedroom hide-a-way cabins.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
